In this mandala, I attempted to find the right balance between order and chaos through the colors contrasts, opposition and composition. Starting with an abstract background and building the intricate patterns of my mandala over the disorder. Finding the right place to balance the background with plain color was harder than I expected.
This theme is definitely something I want to explore further and I want to keep pushing this idea of finding stability in opposite forces like chaos and order.
