Expectation

This mandala represents hope, new arrival, excitement, anticipation, but also fear of the unknown to me.  Furthermore, it means new beginning, growth and appreciating every moment. 

I started this piece while being 5 months pregnant with my son.  I choose green as the main color since this mandala represents hope, new arrival, excitement, anticipation, but also fear of the unknown to me.  Furthermore, it means new beginning, growth and appreciating every moment.  

This artwork was calming to me, especially coming closer to the due date. With every line I was reminded to take a deep breath and appreciate the chance I have to be leaving such a special moment.
